原配紫檀砚匣砚作椭圆随形，周边高浮雕古桩老梅一支，其梅桩苍劲有力，迂回盘旋，新绽梅花疏落有致，暗吐芬芳。背作浅覆手，镌刻铭文，书法清秀洒脱，风格古雅文静。取端溪老坑石为质，触之细腻温润，是为文案之佳品。【铭文印记】铭文详见本场拍卖之拓片文本【陈若木】清代画家，原名照，字崇光，后改字若木、栎生，江苏甘泉人。山水、人物、花卉俱能。黄宾虹曾在扬州从其学花鸟。
