纵17.8cm；宽10.5cm；高2.6cm
原配硬木砚匣砚作长方式，砚面以两汉琢玉之法，剔地浅浮雕琢双虎对峙纹饰，双虎线条犀利流畅，以虎颈为墨池，双口衔虎符二字。覆手处剔地起阳线，浮雕瑞兽方章一枚，表现手法极为精湛。此砚取老坑祁阳佳石，赤绿相间，俏色手法高超，且设计制作精细规整，可为官制用砚之上品。【虎符】亦称兵符，因作成伏虎状，故名，它是古代帝王授予臣属兵权和调动军队所用的凭证。虎符能分成左右两半，用兵时，左一半交给带兵的将帅，右一半由国君保存【铭文印记】铭文详见本场拍卖之拓片文本
