Letter to "Chaplin," in full: "The bearer Fraser has been though all the fighting and will show you his letter from General Brocklehurst. He was up with us in Rhodesia but cannot stand the climate, and always gets fever. He knows telegraphy well and writes a good hand. You might know of something or else Eckstein. I seldom bother with anyone of mine but he cannot go back to our country on account of health, and wants to remain in Transvaal where he has been fighting."
