Ca.400 AD. A Roman delicate glass bowl, perfectly formed, green bowl with a concave base. A small plate like this one was likely used to hold condiments on the Roman table, perhaps salt or some other type of spice. Good Condition; repaired from original pieces; H:46mm/OD:106mm (1.81in, 4.17in) ; 155gr; Provenance: Private Kent collection, formed in the 1980s on the UK art market.
