A group of electrotypes taken from original intaglios in important collections, each with detailed record sheet and photograph(s) with full provenance and other information for the original, comprising: (1) From The Lewes House Collection and now in The Boston Museum of Fine Arts: scaraboid with Apollo, Early Classical Period; gem with naked youth drawing a bow, by Epimenes, Greek Archaic Period; scaraboid with warrior stooping to retrieve his helmet and letter 'A', Archaic Greek Period; (2) From The Lewes House Collection: gem with Hermes in chlamys, arm resting on a pillar, mid-5th century BC; scarab with Eros in flight, early 5th century BC; (3) From The Southesk Collection: gem with youth examining an arrow, circa 460 BC; scarab with Paris holding bow and drawing an arrow, Graeco-Etruscan type, no date; scarab with Argonaut (Jason?) and prow of a galley, no date; scarab with kneeling youth examining an arrow, no date; gem with Erato seated on a rock with lyre, no date; gem with Aphrodite standing by a column with helmet and frond, no date; (4) From the Danicourt Collection: scarab with nude warrior holding shield and broken spear, mid-5th century BC; (5) Unknown: scarab with Hora of winter with prey, no date.
