A bronze oil lamp in the form of a horse standing with head bowed and bridle; to the back a rectangular filling hole and hinge to accept a lid; to the front an extended round-section spout with wide nozzle. 595 grams, 23cm (9"). Property of a North London lady; gifted from her father's collection; formerly with a Mayfair gallery, London, UK; previously acquired in the 1980s.
