A group of electrotypes taken from original intaglios in important collections, each with detailed record sheet and photograph(s) with full provenance and other information for the original, comprising: (1) From The Lewes House Collection and now in The Boston Museum of Fine Arts: gem with nereid riding a hippocampus, Greek Classical Period; scarab with Herakles and horse, Archaic Period; scaraboid with lion, eagle and snake, Late Archaic-Early Classical Period; scaraboid with nude youth and horse, signed by Epimenes, Late Archaic Period; gem with two nude warriors dismembering the corpse of a third, Hellenistic period; (2) From The Lewes House Collection: seal with lion attacking a bull, Helladic Period; (3) From The Southesk Collection: cylinder seal with deerhounds, Early Period; gem with Perseus rescuing Andromeda, Roman style, no date; gem with Zeus riding on an eagle, Early Roman Imperial Period; gem with Zeus, Nike and Aphrodite, no date; scarab with head between gryphons, no date; gem with Orpheus playing the lyre to animals, no date; gem with horseman spearing a lion, no date.
