14th-15th century AD. A silver discoid plaque with concentric ring borders, incised image of an eagle with wings spread, each shoulder with heater shield and scrollwork. Cf. Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 623 for type. 4.5 grams, 20.58mm overall, 17.95x15.12mm internal diameter (approximate size British L, USA 5 3/4, Europe 11.24, Japan 10) (3/4").
