A mixed group of items which may have formed a part of an Inca mummy bundle comprising: a wooden spindle and ceramic whorl; a bone hair pin(?) with splayed points; a wooden thread-picker; six iridescent shell panels with attachment holes; a quantity of red-dyed fabric with backing; a quantity of green-dyed fabric with fringe to one edge. 145 grams total, spindle whorl: 17.5cm (7"). Property of an Essex lady; from her family collection since the early 20th century. [11]
