A BLUE AND WHITE 'THREE FRIENDS' STEM BOWL, JINTAI PERIOD (1428-1457), the upper bowl section with gently rounded sides and an everted rim, the exterior sparsely decorated with The Three Friends of Winter in a cloud-capped mountain landscape, the interior well with a flower spray within a double circle, the tall cylindrical stem decorated with lappet and scroll bands, , 17.1cm dia, 11.5cm high; original Tibetan basketwork case.
