2nd millennium BC-1st millennium AD. A mixed group of stone artefacts comprising: a flint drill with collector's label 'Paleo-Indian flint hand-drill about 500 BC-500 AD. Found in Nebraska U.S.A. Purchased from 'Stone Science' Anglesey, 1999'; a flint crescent with collector's label 'Paleo-Indian flint 'Nose-Ring' really part of a necklace. Age about 500BC-500AD found in Batesville, Texas. Purchased from 'Stone Science' Anglesey, 1995'; obsidian drill with collector's label 'Paleo-American Indian c.15,000 BC A long and slender drill point in obsidian. These were the ancient equivalent of the modern awl or needle & few survive unbroken due to the delicate nature of the shape. 45mm. From the Dewey Deitz collection - Alan Cherry'; quartz scraper with collector's label 'Tanged scraper found about 500 miles SW of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Feb 1994. Purchased from 'Stone Science', Anglesey, 1995'; tanged arrowhead with label 'Seminole Indians, Florida'; similar with label 'Seminole Indians from Florida. Purchased from Derek Aldred in November 1994'; similar with label 'Made from obsidian. Brought back from Florida by Derek Aldred in 1994'; modern knapped flint arrowhead with label; arrowhead with label 'Mexico' and 'A gift from K. Bryant'; a flint scraper with paper wrapper marked 'Scraper about 2000 years old used for polishing leather, found in foundation trench, Mexico City January 1994.
