Mesolithic, 9,000-5,000 years BP and later. A mixed group of flint scrapers comprising: a broad scraper with inked notation 'Horseshoe-shaped scraper I+(Evans p.301); and 'Greenyers Nursery Ltd. Littlehampton Rd, Worthing, Sx Nov.1976 RK'; six smaller tools each with label marked 'Broadwater' giving find location in Worthing, name of finder (Ron Kerridge) and date (1974-1978"). 173 grams total, 35-65mm (1 1/2 - 2 1/2"). From the private collection of Ronald G.P. Kerridge (d. 2013), Sussex historian, author, and archaeologist; found Worthing, West Sussex, UK, by Ronald Kerridge in the 1970s; all with inked find spot and date or collector's label.
