Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong peacock blue glazed porcelain pear vase. Porcelain potted in Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, pear shaped bottle vase, a bottom-heavy body tapered gracefully to slender waisted neck flaring at the mouth rim, supported on slight short spreading foot ring. All reserved masterfully covered in an even coat of a cobalt blue which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
