A FAHUA GLAZED POTTERY FIGURE OF GUANYIN, 17th CENTURY China, late Ming to early Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 17th century. The goddess of mercy seated on a Buddhist lion and striking a pose of royal ease, wearing a long flowing garment as well as a bodhisattva crown. Condition: Old touch-ups to glaze losses, wear, traces of age and use, otherwise in good condition. Provenance: French private collection. Weight: 634.9 g. Dimensions: Height 21.5 cm.
