A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE 'DRAGON' BELT HOOK, QING China, 19th century. The top is carved in openwork with flowers and scroll motifs, while the hook is carved in the form of a dragon head. The nephrite jade is of a white color with ochre-russet shadings around the hook. Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear and very little chipping. Provenance: French private collection.
