This is an embroidered floral still-life of carnations in a potted vase. The flowers are done in attractive whites and shades of pink and the handle is done in a muted gray. The matte has been raised about a half-inch above the embroidery. The overall size is 19 1/8 x 15 3/4 in. wide and the sight size is 12 1/2 x 8 7/8 in. wide. Provenance: the Hirsch estate.
