A pair of silver earrings comprising: a Varangian earring with a sturdy round-section shank and vertical shaft, both decorated with collars and rings of granules; the shafts composed from similar collars and granules in graduated sequence with a large granule finial; the other with central sphere with scrolls and cells, ropework to each side, applied plaques with tubular loops to each side. 20.6 grams total, 32-48mm (1 1/4 - 2").
