Five 18th century Chinese export ceramic lidded jarlets, retrieved from a shipwreck off the coast of Vietnam. Includes 3 round green jarlets with lids, a round blue jarlet with a flower design on the lid, and a round green jarlet with a blue lid. Dimensions of the largest: 2 inches tall X 3 inches diameter; 5.1 cm tall X 7.6 cm diameter. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One has chips to the rim; another jarlet has been repaired, has chips on the rim, another with chips and crack on the rim, Another has a lid that has been repaired. Provenance: From a collection in Florida. Historical Note: The Ca Mau shipwreck was discovered by fishermen in 1998. The ship was likely to have sunk in 1725 en route from Canton to Indonesia. About 130,000 ceramics were recovered from the seabed.
