A bronzer fibula of Middle La Tène type comprising a spring and long pin, broad ribbed bow extending to a tapering foot with lateral catch, returning to attach to the bow with a a D-shaped panel marked '[.]ORI' in low relief. From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980. The legend [?]ORI may be assumed to be a personal name, or part of a longer name such as [Vortep]ori[x].
