A Swabian relief with a depiction of St Barbara, circa 1500 Carved in softwood in half relief with the original, partially gilt paintwork. The saint is depicted standing, wearing a gold cloak and crown, holding a chalice in her hands. Mounted on a hardwood pedestal of later date. Height of the figure 99 cm, including pedestal 103 cm. Condition: II - Condition Report: The paintwork in good condition, slightly rubbed in places. The points of the crown knocked and incomplete.
