A silver ring with oval bezel, intaglio image of a seated woman holding a flower, a high, Eastern-style hat to her head, the left hand raised to hold a flower, the right hand lowered towards a basket. Early Bronze Age to Late Classical, London, 1970, pp.213, 320ff and cat.966. 2.32 grams, 19.68mm overall, 17.48mm internal diameter (approximate size British M, USA 6, Europe 12.46, Japan 12) (3/4"). From a private collection formed in the Netherlands; previously in a European collection formed prior to 1980.
