A ceramic figurine of Tanagra type with hollow underside and void to the reverse; standing figure of Nike, nude with diadem to the brow and small wings to the shoulders, posed leaning against an altar(?) with right leg crossed in front of the left, right arm resting on the top of the altar and left arm bent with hand supporting a cloak or robe. 525 grams, 23cm (9"). Property of a Cambridgeshire, UK, gentleman; acquired before 2000.
