A ceramic figurine of Tanagra type with void to the reverse; standing figure of Hera(?) in floor-length draped robe, with hair dressed in a chignon and broad diadem, posed leaning against an altar(?) with left leg emerging from the front of the robe, right arm resting on the top of the altar and left arm bent with hand holding the front of the robe open; mounted on a custom-made stand. 700 grams total, 27cm including stand (10 1/2"). Property of a Cambridgeshire, UK, gentleman; acquired before 2000.
