A she-wolf head mount with detailed mouth, pointed ears and exposed teeth, the fur of the neck arranged according to the style of the Capitoline She-Wolf, possibly a finial of a small knife or part of a furniture. Cf. Menzel, H., Römische Bronzen in Speyer, Maiinz, 1960; and Rolland, H., Bronzes Antiques de Haute Provence, Paris, 1965, item 413. 57 grams, 51mm (2").
