Cretaceous Period, 145-65 million years BP. A group of four pterosaur Siroccopteryx moroccensis teeth. 2.99 grams total, 20-23mm (3/4"). Property of an East Sussex gentleman; previously acquired on the UK palaeontological art market; from south of Taouz, in the Moroccan Sahara. Siroccopteryx is presently the only named flying reptile from Africa and its narrow, curved teeth were probably used to catch fish. [4, No Reserve]
