Property of a Kent, UK, collector; acquired from a UK auction before 2020. This exhibition, held at South Kensington, was promoted by the Prince of Wales and medals were awarded to the exhibitors; the exhibition ran for the years 1873 and 1874. Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy (1783-1859) was a Parsi-Indian merchant, given a baronetcy in 1842; the school of art bearing his name and endowed by him is the oldest art institution in Mumbai, founded in 1857.
