此器以整段黄杨木雕制，木纹细腻，包浆莹润。以高浮雕技法琢美人图。美人束发高冠，衣着翩翩，坐于鼓凳之上，正在吹奏手中竹笛，一边落款“吴之潘制”。另一边则以木料天然瑕疵做隔断，刻玉几凭栏，古董珍宝，层次分明，工艺精湛，富贵之气袅袅显现，实为文房必备佳品。 款识：吴之潘款
