A Chinese end of a dagger scabbard (Pi) in the style of the Warring States era, circa 1900 Almost trapezoidal shape. With three drilled holes at the top for attachment to the dagger sheath. Opaque greyish yellow nephrite with veins. Intact. Length 6.6 cm. Provenance: From a South German family collection, acquired by the father in China in the 1920s and 1930s.
