提要：李时珍念本草一书历代注解者谬误亦多，遂考古证今，辨疑订误，广采博收群书，在宋代唐慎微《经史证类备急本草》基础上编成此书。此书为明代李时珍（东璧）撰于嘉靖三十一年至万曆六年，稿凡三易。此书采用“目随纲举”编写体例，故以“纲目”名书。此本为江西本，刊刻极为精整，上等白棉纸初印，颇为漂亮，实属难得，刻印如此之佳的一书，极为难得。
