The same year he was commissioned to create six panels for the E42 atrium (they will remain in the state of the sketch). He is present at the Venice Biennale and in 1941 he had a solo show at the Barbaroux Gallery in Milan. Gino Severini dedicates a small monograph to him. In his Roman years, Tamburi devoted himself above all to the landscape and his greatest contribution was expressed in the fresh drawing vein.In 1944 he published the volume of drawings Piccola Roma, with a poem by Ungaretti, and also illustrates Stendhal's Roman Walks. In 1947 he went to Paris, which from that moment became his city.BIBLIOGRAPHY: Orfeo Tamburi, exhibition catalog, Sasso Marconi 1982 (with previous bibliography).
