A substantial silver tutulus brooch comprising a conical centre surrounded by concentric raised rings and filigree ropework at the base, gilt knop finial, eleven radiating lugs each with an applied granule finial and ropework band to the rim; pin-lug and part of the catch to the reverse; two loops to the lower lugs for the attachment of securing chains.
