A small vessel made from finely polished, dark cairngorm (smoky quartz), with flat body with retracted shoulders and two handles on the sides, the interior finely hollowed. 14.7 grams, 44mm (1 3/4"). From an important Austrian collection; formerly with Herman Historica, Munich, Germany, auction 64, lot 3358; in a private South German collection since the 1970s; accompanied by a scholarly note TL5324 by Dr Ronald Bonewitz.
