A silver buckle comprising a kidney-shaped loop and D-section tongue, hollow-formed rectangular plate with repoussé design of an amphora with vine emerging from the top, cross pommy motif; belt plaque with loop below fixed over the tongue. 40.9 grams, 52mm (2"). Ex Mr L.W. in 2005; formerly in an old private Israeli collection, since the 1990s; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no. 10372-168771.
