A skilfully carved antler mount of discoid form with pelletted border, central motif of advancing warrior on horseback, holding right arm up, left hand gripping reins, dressed in short draped tunic. 5.7 grams, 42mm (1 3/4"). Property of a Dutch collector; acquired on the European art market between 1975-2000.
