9th-10th century AD. A set of silver belt mounts and fittings comprising: twenty-three plaques, each a chevron of leaves with stem in the crook and radiating florets; seventeen figural plaques, each a squatting figure with arms raised holding a flower(?) in each hand, suspension ring below; two plaques with a canine quadruped in profile, legs folded beneath the body; tongue-shaped strap end with scene depicting a kneeling male figure prising open the jaws of a crouching lion; two slotted mounts each a facing head, shoulders and bent arms; buckle with squatting figure facing, arms bent and hands raised, vertical pillar extending beneath the chin; all mounted on a modern leather belt.
