A mixed group of three ceramic oil lamps, comprising: one with discoid face, circular and pierced lug handle, border of lines to the shoulder, two human figures in raised-relief on the discus; concentric incised circles to the base, enclosing three lines of geometric 'doodles'; one with irregular oval-shaped body and elongated nozzle, pierced lug handle and shallow recess to base; shoulder with stylised foliate border and central figure in raised-relief; one formed as a human head and neck, cropped and textured hair, facial features, cylindrical neck emerging from head. 325 grams total, 73-95mm (3 - 3 3/4"). Property of a North London collector; previously from an old collection formed in the 1980s.[3, No Reserve]
