瓶呈八方形，敞口，细束颈，鼓腹，八方足状。口沿内处有釉里红绘卷草纹饰，外壁通体以釉里红彩绘缠枝花卉纹饰，主要缠枝纹饰内的花卉种类为菊纹，牡丹纹，是最为常见的缠枝花卉图案。纹样清晰，发色较为稳定，在传世品中诚不多见。此瓶造型、纹样皆与北京故宫珍藏洪武朝釉里红缠枝牡丹纹玉壶春瓶相似。
