此鼎式炉胎体厚重坚致，造型端庄大方，直边平沿口，短束颈，球状腹，圈底，蹄形三足，肩置对称冲天大耳。通体青花满绘海水纹饰、寿山石纹饰，称为福海寿山图，寓九五之尊福寿万年之意。所饰海水波涛汹涌，勾绘出仿佛置身大海的磅礴气势，腹身中间海水内绘寿山石，与海水形成山海一体之势。纹饰繁复，制作规整精妙，青花发色青蓝纯正。腹身正面书“大明宣德年制”款。
