A RUSSIAN GILT SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL BOWL, MAKER KHLEBNIKOV, MOSCOW, 1893 squat, with tapering foot, decorated overall in Pan-Slavic taste, with foliate motifs against a filigree ground, with beaded white and arch-form emerald borders, marked underneath with 84 standard, Moscow town mark, date and assayer's mark L.O in Cyrillic for Lev Oleks, maker's mark KHLEBNIKOV in Cyrillic with Imperial warrant; height: 5.5 cm (2 1/8 in.), diameter: 12 cm (4 3/4 in.) CONDITION The bowl appears in good condition, with wear consistent with age and use. Losses to enamel along the central band, namely to some forest-green scrolls and to the white part of a stylized acanthus leaf, not exceeding 5-10% of the overall enamel work. N.B.
