香港他山雅集旧藏白玉质地，玉种润泽甜美，局部有红沁，圆雕卧狗。宋代玉狗馆藏、市场均可见，但多是单独塑造，不加饰其他纹饰，此玉狗的特殊之处是口中衔有瑞草。玉狗身形圆润，可见明显的点眼工艺，具有中古时代工艺特征，宋代风格。玉狗前肢相交，尾巴曲卷，身上隐现骨骼纹理，以阴线表现出腿部肌肉感。此玉狗经历代藏家盘玩，早已“熟透”，莹润可人。
