A pair of gilt Chinese stirrups, Qing dynasty, 18th centuryWrought iron, partially gilt. The stirrups embellished with finely chased and engraved décor. Oval foot plates with quatrefoil perforations, the reinforced edge with an engraved floral frieze. Both iron stirrups with two pairs of rectangular apertures, strap loops on the top. Dragon's heads chiselled on the sides, each with a movable ball in its jaws (one ball has been lost). Height of each 15.5 cm.Condition: II +
