The axe blades of the second half of 3rd millennium BC evidence contacts with Luristan and its neighbours, especially with the Elamite Kingdom of Susa. This specimen belongs to sub-type H 2.C.a of the Gernez classification, typical of the Sumerian culture, appearing early on between 2600-2500 BC and becoming rarer at the beginning of the Akkadian Period (2350-2150 BC").
