A cut slice of Djoumine chondrite (H5-6) stone meteorite with one polished side and one side showing fion crt, inked collector's note 'Djoumine' to one side; held in a Swiss membrane display box with an information card. 39.7 grams, 66mm wide (110 grams total, 10cm including case) (2 1/2 (4)"). From Tunisia. market. From a Loughborough collection. Apanied by dealer's identification cards. The Djoumine meteorite fell near the village of Djoumine in Tunisia in the evening of October 31st in 1999. After seeing a fireball travelling from the southwest to northeast, the local children recovered two meteorites from the area with at least five other pieces recovered later on. [No Reserve]
