A small-long broochposed of a rectangular headplate, deeply arched, carinated bow and remains of foot with raised transverse ridges; remains of pin lug and catchplate to reverse. 8.89 grams, 41 mm (1 5/8 in.) Found whilst searching with a metal detector, Isle of Wight, UK, on 6 July 2016. Recorded by Isle of Wight Portable Antiquities Scheme Liaison Officer with reference numbers SZ 39815 and BNG 86878 (record id. IOW-899C06). Apanied by a copy of the Portable Antiquities Scheme report number IOW-899C06. [No Reserve]Condition Report: Fine condition.
