長井朋子藉由未知的探索與日常想像作為一種繪畫動力，與生命經驗結合，長井並在繪畫中開啟了一種複合視域：即是以宇宙為名的觀看法則，透過藝術家的畫面構成，任何的時地物都將串起一條能自由穿越其時間與空間中的旅人隧道，畫面已不再是以透視與景深的方式構成摹真的幻景，而是地圖式的遊覽或是史詩式的全景展開。她的物件佈局在流動的色塊與塗抹痕跡上標示出藝術家作畫欲望的方向，作為旅途中的幻想指南。藝術家的繪畫將與真實與夢的世界聯繫，任何地點的形色風景都能在幻想中抵達。
