Description from original Japanese receipt dated 1965: " Lesson of Humility - Figures picture light coloring, silk canvas and silk 3 class mounting the era of Tsing about 100-150 years old Name Chiu hua," Good condition, glue loose to one silk border. Height of art 39 3/4 inches (101 cm.). X width 16 1/4 inches (41.5 cm.).Provenance: Private North American Collection purchased in post-WW2 Japan from a Collection formed in the early 20th Century.
