By Tomotada, Kyoto, Edo period (1615-1868), 18th centuryThe emaciated wolf bending over with its mouth open and ears cocked while resting its right forepaw on a clam shell; signed beneath one hind leg Tomotada within a rectangular reserve. 3.3cm (1 3/8in) high.
