The best known is the one about Sennin Gama, the sacred hermit and immortal whose companion was a toad. This okimono presents a dense, lively composition with many figures. Seven toads in different sizes, the younger ones with very smooth skin, on a lotus leaf. A lotus seed capsule in between the animals. Radial veins of the lotus leaf on the underside.
