Himalayan Art. A gilt bronze figure of Achala Sino/Tibet, early 20th century . Two-pieces cast: base shaped as a single lotus flower and body, depicting the triumphant wrathful deity Achala in a kneeling posture standing on a horse and human body. The figure is characterized by a tall flaming hairstyle and a wrathful and bearded face, both presenting polychrome traces. The deity wears a flowing stole, a tunic ornate with phytomorfic motifs, a long necklace of human heads and an armor on which is depicted a zoomorphic face. In the right hands is a sword of which the blade was lost, while the left hand should have held the phustaka lace.. Cm 18,50 x 23,00.
