The dish is supported on a high flared foot and the sides rise to a pierced rim. It is decorated to the interior with a geometric diaper panel, encircled by four further panels interspersed by leafy lotus sprays, all within a border of linked leaves. The pierced circles on the rim are linked together in iron-red all encircled by a ruyi-head band at the rim.
